What is International Holistic Professional Accreditation (IHPA)?

IHPA is a private, voluntary accreditation operated as a subdivision of D2D Sunnah Remedies
Ltd’s training programmes. It provides non-statutory professional recognition for holistic
practitioners and training providers who meet defined ethical and professional standards.

Who is IHPA for?

IHPA is designed for holistic practitioners, therapists, coaches, and training providers who want to demonstrate professionalism, ethical practice, and commitment to quality within holistic and complementary therapies.

Why should I become an IHPA member?

IHPA membership helps you build credibility, stand out professionally, and show clients or
students that you follow recognised standards of good practice. It provides reassurance,
visibility, and confidence in how you present your work.

What does IHPA membership include?

Membership offers voluntary professional recognition for individual practitioners and, where appropriate, a seal of approval for training programmes. It also provides access to professional guidance and a structured framework that supports ongoing development.

Does IHPA approve training schools?

IHPA may provide a voluntary seal of approval for training programmes operated by members,
subject to review against defined standards. This helps learners identify training that meets
professional and ethical expectations.

Does IHPA license or regulate practitioners?

No. IHPA is not a regulatory or licensing authority. It does not replace local authority
requirements, statutory regulation, or legal obligations. Participation is entirely voluntary.

Will councils or insurers recognise IHPA?

Acceptance of IHPA recognition is at the discretion of councils, insurers, and other third parties.
IHPA accreditation may be used as supporting information, but does not guarantee approval or
recognition.

How are membership fees used?

Membership fees contribute to the administration and ongoing development of the accreditation
scheme and may also support charitable initiatives, including projects that help provide safe
water to communities in need.

Is IHPA international?

Yes. IHPA membership is open to practitioners and training providers worldwide. “International”
refers to the global availability of membership and does not imply statutory recognition in any
country

What therapies does IHPA cover?

IHPA focuses on holistic and complementary therapies and wellness practices. It does not cover
medical diagnosis, prescribing, or regulated healthcare professions.

What does IHPA not do?

IHPA does not provide legal licensing, council approval, or statutory regulation. It exists to
support professionalism, ethical practice, and transparency within holistic practice.
